Submit a short talk

The Innovation Day: Matchmaking aims to create interdisciplinary links and collaborations, especially in view of the upcoming waves of calls for projects from the DIM BioConvS that will promote collaborative projects between biotherapy/bioproduction laboratories and laboratories with expertise in synthetic biology.

We have therefore reserved a significant part of the program for 10-minute short talks, where you will have the opportunity to pitch your project in front of the entire community. For the selected short talks, we will assign a poster, where a member of your team must be present at least during the poster session. The idea is to invite interested parties to come and discuss with you in front of your poster.

Please note that, by submitting a short talk abstract, you automatically agree to present a poster, if selected.

If you are not selected for a short talk, you might still be selected for a poster presentation only.

We have scheduled all the short talks before the breaks, to leave time for discussion later.

How to submit

The short talk must address the main points of the project and your needs in terms of collaboration.

On the submission page, you will need to indicate "short talk" in the submission type.

Submission requires a title and an abstract of 200 words maximum. Do not forget to add your co-authors in step 2 of submission.

Submit an abstract for a pitch/short talk

The deadline to submit an abstract for a short talk is November 4th.
